Research
My research focus is on investigating the thermodynamic stability of integral membrane proteins. Specifically, I am attempting to understand the mechanism by which membrane proteins fold and insert into phospholipid bilayers. The laboratory techniques that I use include fluorescence and circular dichroism spectroscopy.
